Butane is sold separately, lighter is shipped without any fuel in order to comply with safety regulations

Refill Instructions:

1) Hold the lighter with refill valve facing up


2) Press a pen or screwdriver down into refill valve until all air is released


3) Press Butane fuel can's nozzle down into refill valve for about 5-10 seconds and repeat if necessary until lighter is almost full


4) Wait 5-10 minutes before using
