Upgrade your weak and heavy, stock 2-piece driveshaft. The Driveshaft Shop's 1-piece driveshaft is a perfect upgrade for your S550 Mustang. It is lighter, stronger, and will reduce rotating mass. This lightweight driveshaft weighs 18 lbs and is balanced to 9500 rpms. It's rated at 1000 hp, so it will be able to handle almost anything you want to throw at it! Constructed from 4.0" diameter 6061-T6 aluminum tubing that is rated for 3450ft lbs of torque, this driveshaft features a 108mm CV joint and adapter plate to mount directly to the transmission and a 108mm 6-bolt rear CV joint made from an all new 300M material. This light weight one piece aluminum driveshaft features a 4.0" diameter design giving extra clearance needed to avoid interference that can happen on lowered Mustangs equipped with a 4" shaft.
